How long is the trip and where do we go? These two 14 night journeys loop through the entire island - from historic Hobart and the wild beauty of Bruny Island, along the dramatic east coast through Freycinet and the Bay of Fires, up into the northern wine country of the Tamar Valley, across to the ancient Tarkine rainforests and Cradle Mountain, and back down through Strahan's wilderness waterways to finish in charming Richmond. Tasmania from top to bottom, coast to coast. What kind of experiences are included? Think private whisky and chocolate tastings, an award-winning eco-cruise beneath towering sea cliffs, truffle hunting in the rich soils of Deloraine, and a beach cookout with freshly speared crayfish. You'll cycle car-free trails on Maria Island, walk the Dove Lake Circuit at Cradle Mountain, cruise the Gordon River through UNESCO wilderness, and watch fairy penguins waddle ashore at dusk. It's a mix of adventure, wildlife, and indulgence - with plenty of flexibility built in. Do I need to be super fit? Not at all. There's a range of activity levels throughout the trip - from gentle strolls through lavender fields and heritage villages to more invigorating hikes like Freycinet lookout full loop option.
